The Stage 3 students of Londonderry Public School engaged in S.E.A.T Project lessons and investigated global issues such as sustainability and poverty and were keen for their voices to be heard in their community. They researched, negotiated and made some wise decisions. They discovered the high population of homeless people in the Hawkesbury region, so sold their decorated SEATs at auction to raise funds to provide comfort packs to local organisation – Hawkesbury Helping Hands. In total these students raised $2010!
