S.E.A.T brings teens together

“Students from Holroyd School Merrylands are looking beyond the classroom for their latest Project. Holroyd, a Special Education school, has teamed up with year 11 and 12 students from Key College in Merrylands to build and paint their bamboo SEATs as a part of the sustainability-focussed S.E.A.T Project”, said Maryanne Taouk from the Parramatta Advertiser.

Holroyd classroom teacher Aydan Durmaz said that “the program allows students to see real world benefits of thinking sustainably. It’s also been good to show my students that they don’t always have to be vulnerable members of society, that they can help someone else and look outside, even globally.”
