Kids in Philanthropy use SEAT to help kids understand how to make a difference

Kids In Philanthropy held a workshop with 13 families today where the children all got to build and decorate SEAT from the S.E.A.T Project. Kids In Philanthropy aims to raise awareness in children, from more advantaged backgrounds, of the poverty and need in disadvantaged Sydney communities. The ultimate aim is to bridge the increasing divide between the children who ‘have’ and who ‘have not’ and create opportunities for knowledge sharing, friendship, a spirit of sharing and cultural exchange. The S.E.A.T Project was the perfect example of how they could make a difference. Our little sustainable bamboo stool helps a community in Vietnam, and raises money for The Real Foundation. It was great to see what the kids created.
