The S.E.A.T Project provided an opportunity for students to work together on a meaningful project that has many assessable outcomes both social and academic. The students were engaged by the hands-on activity as well as the background story and relevance to real life. The S.E.A.T Project education program provided a variety of teaching and learning opportunities for our students with challenging behaviours.”
Teaching staff – Woodberry Learning Centre NSW
The students at Woodberry Learning Centre participate in a 40 week program away from their normal school setting. Their teachers decided to spend some of that time engaging in the S.E.A.T Project. The end product is a set of 6 thoughtfully decorated SEATs that the participating students have left behind for their Woodberry friends and community. The students come and go, but the SEATs will remain!
