SEAT isn’t perfect

Red Gum & Hakea Rooms from Halinda School teamed up to participate in S.E.A.T Project with a desire to develop relationships between combined classes. Students demonstrated their own individual strengths and interests during this Project.

Their teacher said, “we appropriated the concept from film “Inside Out” where the mystery of the human brain is similar to the complexity of personalities in a functioning mind. The SEAT (unfinished in this picture) is showing the depths of awareness or consciousness of the human brain. The glitter suggests the electric pulses through the synapses from one neuron to another. The dynamic colours selected suggest the broad variety of thoughts, emotions and sensory stimuli within the mind. The chaotic nature of coloured splashes represent brain activity of a mind mis-firing, a reference to the artists creating this SEAT.

The SEAT isn’t perfect, nor does it have to be finished, rather, what will be, will be.”
