The next cohort of Year 6 students from The Scots School Albury get to experience our little bamboo stool and all he has to offer; his heart-felt story, wise action and philanthropic outcomes!
2023
This year as a part of their ‘taking action’ step and their art project for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Exhibition, Year 6 students participated in the S.E.A.T Project and decorated a bamboo SEAT to match their perfect goal. S.E.A.T stands for Sustainability, Education, Art and Teamwork which was ideal for the learning experiences and outcomes that Scots wanted to achieve with their Year 6 students.
The students decorated their SEATs with the creative inspiration and guidance of environmental artist Fran Ifould, followed by an art exhibition and and auction of artworks to the school community.
