A small group of students from Cootamundra Public School participated in the S.E.A.T Project through a learning and well-being program led by the school chaplain.
My group of Stage 3 girls have enjoyed working together to build their SEATs. As we were finishing our session last week, a teacher walked past and checked in. She asked what the girls had learnt. One replied “To not believe that it is as easy to build the SEAT as it shows in the video!” Yes, it was a little tricky in parts, but it was great to watch them accept the challenge by problem solving and working together. Some of the concepts for discussion were a little complex for my group but it was easy to adapt the program to their level.”
