Over the weekend of August 24 and 25, our S.E.A.T Project team attended the Queensland Education Resources Expo (www.quedrex.com.au) in Brisbane where education professionals from around the country gather to access the latest education resources on offer.
For us, it was an exciting opportunity to introduce and demonstrate the S.E.A.T Project to thousands of educators and over 100 other exhibitors.
We were delighted to receive great feedback from key industry professionals as well as a dozen educators who participated in a S.E.A.T Project workshop, hosted by Justine Lind, the author of our Education Program.
Justine emphasised the versatility and flexibility of the program, and its ease of implementation to explore a broad range of topics, tapping directly into the higher order thinking around educating children.
“We received great feedback about the program,” our CEO Virginia Bruce shares. “The participants were inspired by how easily the program could be used in many different ways, as an arts program or a fund-raiser, or for children with learning differences and secondary children demonstrating the economic model of social enterprise.”
We returned to Sydney brimming with ideas and inspiration, and judging by the enthusiasm around the workshop, we weren’t the only ones.
