Last week S.E.A.T Project participated in SEPLA (Special Education Principals’ and Leaders’ Association) 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal. Amongst the natural beauty and lively cafe culture of Terrigal, Principals and leaders from both special and mainstream schools gathered together from all over NSW.
The theme for this year’s conference was Leading for Self, Leading for Health. An impressive line-up of inspiring and thought provoking keynote speakers took to the stage. Professional workshops provided delegates with engaging exchange for conversations around best practices and ideas.
The feedback from participants was that S.E.A.T Project was a favourite! Many leaders enjoyed learning about our education program and were impressed at S.E.A.T’s ability to cover so many aspects of what special schools are striving to achieve; partnerships within in the community, giving children ‘a voice’, discovering their talents, gifts and individuality.
