Mr. Duong is the Director of the factory in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam where SEAT is built entirely from bamboo, a versatile and sustainable natural resource. The factory employs villagers, 90% of which are women, providing much needed work to the local community. In the factory, each SEAT is individually cut, shaped and assembled by hand, under the watchful eye of Mr. Duong. The factory itself uses local renewable energy resources. They use the off cuts from the bamboo to fuel the furnace that powers the whole bamboo factory!

Bill Gadd is an international entrepreneur and business leader. Bill heads up Vietnam B2B Direct – International Trade Solutions Co. Ltd to provide communication between the S.E.A.T Project and the Vietnam factory. S.E.A.T’s business relationship with Bill Gadd allows the SEATs to be successfully transported to Australia.
