“greatly affects the lives of others”

The Year 6 students from Lane Cove Public School constructed, designed, decorated and then donated their SEATs to the Royal North Shore Hospital School who then hosted an auction on the 22nd August 2018. This event showcased the gifts and talents of all the students and schools involved. The proceeds of this auction benefitted those both at home in Australia and overseas; Manly Women’s Shelter and Seven Women Charity in Nepal.

Here is one student’s SEAT and reflection…

Alex – age 12

“To me having taken part in such an experience as S.E.A.T Project has been challenging, exhilarating and enjoyable. It has made me feel proud and involved with the community. The fact that I’ve done such a simple thing that greatly affects the lives of others gives me a wonderful feeling. My SEAT begins as the depths of before coming up to the surface.”
