Students from the Montessori School in Canberra discussed how organisations can “pay it forward” and how they might make a difference to a community on the other side of the world.
After working through the S.E.A.T lessons on their personal gifts, philanthropic action and global awareness, students decided to gift their SEATs to the children of Paradis des Indiens, a school community in Haiti. With the help of the Haitian ex-pat community in Australia, the students were able to arrange the connection, transportation and delivery of their gifts.
