The Year 5 and 6 students from Guildford West Public School in NSW connected with the character of SEAT after rebuilding him and discovered much about what was happening in other parts of the world, along with some home grown causes.
They chose to dedicate their S.E.A.T Project to Monika’s Doggie Rescue, a no-kill shelter, rescuing and re-homing abandoned dogs from death row in Sydney’s pounds. After holding a school community SEAT exhibition and use money donated to give to their chosen cause. One of their SEATs also went to Monika’s Doggie Rescue as a token of the Project.
