making a difference in other parts of the world

The students of Class S17 from Holroyd School Merrylands built and decorated this SEAT, to be auctioned. The money raised from their SEAT auction will be used to purchase rubber rain boots for the children in Grande Ttio, Peru. They have already raised money for fresh food and undies! Read their stories.

What S.E.A.T Project meant to them: A fun, exciting, different experience.

Why we chose this: To lend a hand to children in need.

Builders & Artists: Kimberley, Sohum, Montather, Rita, Aziza & Selena

The students of Holroyd School Merrylands participated in S.E.A.T Project to support their community and Holroyd Finalgive something back. They wanted to:

  • initiate change,
  • be a part of the bigger picture,
  • help people in other parts of the world,
  • make a difference,
  • give instead of receive,

….but most of all, to show that they are CAPABLE of helping others!

Holroyd School supports students with moderate anHolroyd59d severe intellectual disabilities. Many of the students have multiple disabilities.
